Tomorrow we leave for KC so my baby can register bright and early Wednesday morning for American Idol! Woo Hoo! I believe whole-heartedly that my baby is a great singer. Is she "good enough" for the judges? I don't know. We'll see. "I" think she's good enough, but what mother doesn't think their kid is good enough?
Now, for me. I went on a "Meet-n-Greet" last night at the Classic Bean. He's nice. AND he already invited me for a luncheon today. Unfortunately, I was out of town for a work event.
We agreed that we have a lot in common (such as our love of our jobs - which is a big deal) and we like to laugh and watch great movies. AND, neither of us drinks very often unless out with friends for a social evening. Plus, he's pretty for a man in his, believe it or not, early 40's. LOL.
He did most of the talking, which is absolutely fine with me. It's easier for me to just sit there and look pretty than it is to not say the wrong thing. :- /
I'm so excited. I'm happy and nervous and anxious. UGH! LOL. Keep your fingers crossed for my baby girl! (And hope she doesn't make it in the "embarrassing" clips they show of auditions.) Nah..... my girlz got skillz! LOL!
