Networking

Tonight I was at a networking "social gathering". It was great. I had never been to a gathering like this! I saw people who worked for companies that I had once worked for and therefore it was easy to start an open conversation and immediatly have something in common.

Usually, when I'm in a mixed setting like that, I am very shy. I know, it's hard to believe. But tonight, I was working it! I talked to so many people and people wanted to know who I was, what I did, and I must say, I was charming. :) Yes, I did flirt a little, but .... ok, I DID get a few business cards. I'm happy.

I can't wait for the next network social!
