Merry Christmas!

Oh, I love Christmas! Even if I only get one single gift, I still love it! It's the gift of "giving" that really makes me feel like I've got the spirit.

Tuesday, I went with friends to deliver gifts and food to a family that the firm adopted. I love when we can help someone less fortunate than me. I mean, I didn't get Alex a lot for Christmas, but she has a good life and doesn't want for much at all. So, if I only got her one thing (which I did) then it's no big deal. People should realize that it's not the number of gifts, it's the appreciation for what they do get. Alex LOVED what we got her! She didn't even care that I got a bunch of little things. My mom said that she wished that all kids were like Alex; Considerate, Consciencious, Courteous, and an all around good person. I agree.

So, I ended up giving out about 10 candy boxes and a few dozen cookies this year. I did squeeze in some actual store-bought gifts, but not many. Times are tough for everyone. This seemed to be the first of many Christmases to come where home-made gifts are back in fashion. "Just like the good ol' days." I received cookies and crafts from some friends. And you already know that I gave my own home-made gifts to friends and family.

I wish a Very Merry Christmas to all of you! I hope you got everything you wanted this year!
