"Auld Lang Syne" (Old Long Since...)

I hope you all have a great New Year filled with responsible drinking and a very merry midnight kiss. You can chime in to the choir singing "Auld Lang Syne" even if you don't know the words (which I've put below for your convenience), and make new acquaintences as well as party with old friends.

Remember that with the new year most people vow to new resolutions. As usual, I'm not making a resolution. I'm pretty content with things (for the most part). However, I do believe that Alex has some things she needs to think about puting into a resolution. She's sick right now, and won't be able to party with everyone else, but who says the party HAS to be tonight? Can't we celebrate the new year anytime during the first few days? LOL. Maybe this weekend we'll get out and do something fun. We'll see.

OH, and whoever it was that sent me the belated Christmas card signed "someone you don't remember".... Well, thank you! And yes, I don't know who you are because you didn't sign your name or put a return address on it. I don't forget many people. Sometimes I don't acknowledge people, and sometimes I get busy and don't respond to every single person I do know. But, drop me an email. Say "hi". And sign your name.

For all my friends, remember: Be Safe, Be Smart, and Have Fun! Happy New Year!!

Should old acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to
mind ?Should old acquaintance be forgot, and old times
since ?
CHORUS:
For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we'll take a cup of kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.
