"Whistle While You Work"

Today was Alex's 2nd day on the job. Woo Hoo! Yeah baby! I'm so proud of her. Someone asked me if she was excited about working. Um... no, she isn't. I don't think her working has anything to do with excitement. She is simply working because she needs to be working. My goodness! She's an adult now. Part of being an adult is learning to take care of yourself financially. She knows that and she's doing what she needs to be doing. I don't care. I'm still proud of her. :)

What about me? Oh, I'm definitely excited! Sure, I may still have to drive her here and there; to work and from work. It's no different than driving kids to school every day and picking them up. It's a small sacrifice.

Did I mention that I'll be getting nights and weekends to myself? Not all the time, of course. But for the past...... I wanna say it's been about 3 years..... I am always with someone! I'm never alone! I'm actually looking forward to it! Not that I want to be alone, but that I can be alone. You have to understand the difference. LOL.
