"Gorgeous" day!

It doesn't matter that there was an overcast, and that the daytime temperature dipped below 60 degrees today. It was a "gorgeous" day.

First of all, I got my hair done this morning before work. That means I got to see the ever-handsome stylist that I've had a massive crush on for, well, a LONG time! He's a mini Tom Cruise without all the martians in his brain. (Sorry Tom, but you're crazy!!) Oh, and he loves to talk. Not just about uninteresting things, but we happen to have a lot in common, and flirting is always acceptable! LOL. Did I get hair on my tush?? Please, brush it off. LOL.... ok, now I'm just being silly.

Well, of course I was looking good when I left the salon! That makes me "Gorgeous #2". :) Dressed in all black (always slimming) and full on face done up right. Yeah, I must admit, I was looking quite sharp today.

At lunch, a very sexy man took me to O'Dooley's. He's very tall, funny, attractive, and married. Hey, there's nothing funny going on! You know me, and I'm just not that type of gal! Actually, a "rep" came in and invited me to lunch. How awesome is that?! Good thing I got my hair done! LOL.

Today seemed to be all about the "pretty people" and I'm okay with that. Pretty people make me smile and put me in a great mood. Plus, since I'm still not dating anyone (I know, I know), it was nice to get some one-on-one male attention. Even if it was completely platonic, it was still very nice. :)

On to other things. I'm on chapter 7 of my book. I've been sending pages off to my friend Michael to read/critique, plus he can help me with my ebbs and waves. I really am out of practice, but it's going okay so far. I've always wanted to write a "perfect crime" series. Several have tried, and few have succeeded. I hope I can pull it off.
