He's young enough to be molded, ignorant enough not to know any better, and innocent enough to stir the hearts of America. And he's doing it all! He totally kicked David Cook's ASS tonight! C'mon!! You can't say that you didn't get goosebumps when he sang his second and third song. If you do, I call "bullshit". LOL.
I LOVE this kid!! Now, if we can only get rid of his "parent of a child star" father! ACK!

Yes, many of us out there were also expecting the young David to walk away with the top prize--but like you, we were wrong. I've racked my brain trying to figure how I (we) was wrong but have come up with no definitive answer. I'm just hoping that Archuleta, over time, out sells Cook in CD sales...like some of the other runner-ups have done.
