August Rush

If you want a reall "feel good" movie, this is the one for you! It's got great music, a good story line, a little "Oliver" bit in it, and beautiful people. Ahh... so simply sweet.

So, after watching this movie I decided to insert here some of the lyrics from songs that I find so true, so moving, or help to relieve tension/stress. Here they are:

Cold by Crossfade                                     Life is a Highway by Tom Cochrane
I never really wanted you to see               Life's like a road that you travel on
The screwed up side of me that I keep      When there's one day here and the next day gone
Locked inside of me so deep                      Sometimes you bend, sometimes you stand
It always seems to get to me                      Sometimes you turn your back to the wind
I never really wanted you to go                 There's a world outside every darkened door
So many things you should have known    Where blues won't haunt you anymore
I guess for me theres just no hope              Where the brave are free and lovers soar
Come ride with me to the distant shore

A Place for My Head by Linkin Park            The One That Got Away by Pink
Maybe someday I'll be just like you, and     I've always been a sucker
Step on people like you do and                    had a weakness for a boy
Run away the people I thought I knew        with a guitar and a drink in his hand
I remember back then who you were          His words were like heaven in my hurricane
You used to be calm, used to be strong        My knees buckled under
Used to be generous,                                    I thought everyone was watching me
but you should've known                              Watching you save my life with the song
That you'd wear out your welcome
Now you see how quiet it is, all alone
