No no no. Sorry, but I'm not selling my book. The Topeka Public Library is having their annual book sale. See the details below.

The Friends of the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library need donations of gently used books and other literary materials to supply their bookstore, the Chandler Booktique, located in the Library. Donations will also help supply the 2007 Friends of the Library Book Sale, September 14-16, 2007, in Ag Hall at the Kansas Expocentre.

Donated books, magazines, DVDs, CDs, videos, audio cassettes or records may be left at the book deposit bin located at the northwest corner of the main library (easiest access is from 10th and Garfield Street). Donations may also be left at the information desk at the library. For those who have more than two boxes of items, staff will be available to pick-up the donations.

All year long, volunteers sort books and other items in preparation for the annual book sale. Proceeds from the book stores and the Friends annual book sale go to fund library programs, equipment and circulating collections of books and videos that are not a part of the regular library budget.

For more information or pick-up services, contact the Friends of the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library, 785-580-4445.
