Demoted At Last!

I am no longer "Queen" of NOT getting a second date! I have had a 2nd date, and it was wonderful! Ok, still not jumping into anything. But still, I'm VERY excited.

Tonight was "dinner and a walk" night. Dinner was fabulous. I LOVE steak! And everyone knows I'm a slow eater, but so is he! (Or, he was just pacing himself to match how slow I am... LOL)

We talked for a while, but spent most of the night laughing. We did hit the touchy subjects: politics, children, family and religion. There was nothing said that was argumentative or brutal. No wise-cracks were made about each others' beliefs and such. It was very pleasant.

As the dinner was coming to an end, the evening was not quite over. I asked him what he would like to do afterwards, and he just laughed and said that he hadn't even thought about it. He decided to go to the park (one of my favorite places!) and it was fine with me. LOL. We walked, talked, sat and laughed for a while longer.

I'm ready to pass my crown on to someone else. Yeah! No longer the Queen! Ha ha ha
