More dream stuff....

Everyone has their beliefs: God, Buddah, Astrology, Numerology, etc. I think of myself as a logical thinker.....There's malarky and then there's malarky. But faith is something that should not be questioned. I don't care what people believe, and I choose what I believe.

So, here goes....

You all know that I have odd and surreal dreams. They are so very detailed and leave me in a waking state of feeling lonely, scared, or on my guard. Sometimes I am the hunter in my dreams (of what/who, I don't know) and sometimes I am the hunted (and I awake seeking shelter). Here's the thing, sometimes I will remember the details of a dream for days on end. If I were a movie character, I'd say that it's because I was supposed to "find" something within the details. Although life can sometimes seem like something you've seen on TV, it is not something you can "cut" and "take two".

I tried to do some research on the internet about dreams, but it always seems to lead down the road of reincarnation, psychic powers, or something else really outside of acceptable logic. As I said, everyone believes in something. I just don't choose to believe in those things. I question them. Perhaps there is a gallow of souls that are used over and over again. Perhaps there isn't. I just don't know.

Something I do believe in is hypnosis. I believe that anyone who wants to be so relaxed and at ease that they release all inhabitions and let down their mental guard as to who they are and what they will allow themselves to do...... well, I believe they can be hypnotized. I'd like to give that a try sometime. I'd like to be able to have these dreams drawn out of me, spoken in the detail that I see them. I'm a writer at heart, and surely, with some gentle coaxing, these details can be eased from my mind's eye and come pouring out of my mouth.

You know the craziest part of these weird dreams? When I go to bed at night, I never know what to expect. I'm anxious to see what happens next though. It's like my own TV series that never fails to have some twisted plot. LOL.
