This is the end of Week 2 living by myself. I'm fine. I've seen Alex a LOT over the past couple of weeks. The other night she called (her night off) and asked if she could come over and hang out. I asked her "Oh, do you miss your mommy?" She replied, "I need to do laundry." Hrmph! LOL. She did take me out to dinner though, so that's cool. Plus, she's so fun to hang out with anyway.
I've been updating my contacts on LinkedIn. If you aren't familiar with it, and you have a career, you should definitely check it out. This is a great place for professional networking, gathering and forwarding recommendations, and sharing your basic work skills. This is not a "kid" website or a "singles" website. It is reserved for career-wise networking.
Oh, the car. I have to tell you that the car that I bought is still running and gets around fairly well for the amount I paid for it ($700), but it does have some minor issues. I don't know if you've ever heard of "SeaFoam" for cars, but this stuff is AWESOME! It's kinda like a multi-purpose cleanser for your car. It's powers are not limited to the fuel system either. You can pour it in with your oil (but if you do, be sure to read the special instructions on the webpage), pour it in your gas tank, or you can clean out your top end system by putting it through your brake booster line. Wow! To find out more, check out this webpage for information and instructions: How To Seafoam Your Car - LS1TECH
What else? Um, a guy that I went out with a couple of times, during Justin and my first breakup, emailed me the other day. Crazy, huh? Sometimes that happens. One time I got an email from an old fan of mine from the days I used to write on "Celsi's Outpost". That was flattering. *Blush* I like unexpected emails. I do not like anonymous emails. I know, you would think that you wouldn't be able to write an email anonymously, but some people will create a screenname, send a bunch of crap and then delete the account name. Why?? I can't answer that because I simply don't know.
One more thing. I'm finally getting rid of my dial-up internet service. I'm switching over to DSL. I should have my service in a couple of days. I know I'm a bit behind the times, but I believe that if something isn't broke, don't fix it. Still, I have a reason for getting this DSL service. It's work related. Gotta have it.
Well guys, I think that's it for now. WAIT.... I totally forgot about American Idol. You know what? I'm gonna save that for my next blog. :)
