Halloween

This year, I wore two costumes for Halloween. First, I wore my Super Girl outfit that I bought last year. That one was for handing out candy. Of course, I wore it to pick Alex up from work too.

After work, she wanted to rent horror movies from Hastings and then we had to go to the grocery store for coffee and soda. I was Super Girl all the way.

I did run into Flash Gordon while I was out. He asked about Superman.

Last night, I went to my friend Mel's "Masquerade Ball". It was very cool. You should have seen all of the different masks and outfits.

As always, the party started slow, but picked up as the evening went on. Mel made the best punch: champagne, gingerale, grenadine, and rum. Delicious! If I didn't have to drive, I would have had a lot more! LOL.

My date, Byron, wasn't bad at all. In fact, he was very pleasant and socialable and friendly. It was a nice surprise.

Well, at the end of the party, we all voted for the following categories: Most goulish, most original, best female, and best male. Check out my costume! I won best female by a landslide!! Thanks Mel, for loaning me the dress and shoes. You made me a winner last night.

After the party, Byron and I went out for coffee. Yes, we were still in costume. Everyone just LOVED the outfits. Byron was wearing a nice black/blue outfit with a white dress shirt and bowtie. Even though we didn't exactly match, I thought he complimented me well. He looked very nice.
