Night Out

Yesterday, I was totally cute. LOL. You know how it is when you're having a really good hair day and your mascara hasn't run, and your just..... well, cute. That was me yesterday. So, when my friend Dewayne called to go out and do something, of course I said yes. Why waste a good hair day, right?

So, we went out for dinner and caught up on who's doing what, how work is going, and "old friends" stories. It was nice just to be out and having good conversation with an old friend.

After dinner, we went to Jeremiah Bullfrogs for a drink. Just one. More talking, more laughing, more just hanging out and just being out.

Lately, it's been my thing to tell people "It's my birthday!" Okay, you may not find that funny at all, but when you tell someone it's your birthday, they always smile and say "oh, really?" No. No, not really. Can I still have presents?? LOL. So, I told Dewayne it was my birthday, which of course it was not. He's strange too, and also thought it was funny. I told him that I wanted a couch for my (fake) birthday. Surprisingly, he actually has a couch he's trying to get rid of! Wow! Talk about coincidence! So, Happy (fake) Birthday to me! I'm getting a couch! LOL.

Ok, so I didn't do anything super exciting on my night out. It's not always about excitement. Sometimes it's just about enjoying yourself. I did.
