Later, I had lunch with a friend and got to see her new puppy. He's so cute! He's a cockerspaniel and he's so little. I am not a dog person at all, but I know the day is coming when I'll have to get one. UGH! I'm at least going to wait until the cats are gone first, so it'll still be a while. Sarah Lee might have about five more years in her, but she's so fat that I don't know if she'll make it to 18 or 20. It'll be a sad day when I have to lay her to rest. :(

Now that Alex has been working for a couple of weeks, she's really enjoying it. She "rouses" her co-workers when they're slacking but she's also a bit of comic relief, it seems. Do not fear, the stories will be coming at you soon. LOL.
Finally home for the night, I made dinner, did a little chatting on the computer, and then I went to iron Alex's hair. You know, as much as I love that baby girl of mine, we just aren't a very affectionate family. We rarely ever hug and we don't say "I love you" very often. Instead, we have our own way of showing our love. It might be holding hands while telling stories, or dancing together, or something like that. So, when she asked me to do her hair, of course I said "yes". It is just one of those moments that you make and hold on to. Funny how little things are like that, huh?
Now, I'm off to bed. I've been reading Michael Connelly's "Harry Bosch" series of books. I haven't been reading them in order though. Still, they blend together well, regardless of what order you read them in. I'm excited to see what's gonna happen in the chapters I'll read tonight!
Oh, one more thing. If this is a post that you read often, please add yourself to my "followers" list. You don't have to add your picture, but please add yourself. I would really like that.
Thank You!
