I love Charles McVey! Although, I'm so disappointed that I have to continue to wait for the new CD to come out. He's a hard working guy! Tonight, he shined, as always. Sitting at the keyboard on stage, he took on his persona of the rock star. LOVE IT!
Charles did tell me that it would be Spring before he had any other shows booked in Topeka. <Sigh> Until then, I will just have to do what I usually do... love him from afar and listen to his CDs often.

Today, I made no-bake cookies. Something went wrong though. They didn't set up like they usually do. They're still soft and smooshy. Hmm. Still, they are damn good! Spoon it up and lick em like a chocolatey-peanut butter-oatmeal lollipop. Mmmmm-mmmm. LOL.
Tomorrow, I have got to get going on my book some more. I'm 10 chapters in and I have been thinking of where I want to go with it. Mwah-ha-ha.

I've decided that it's time for me and Alex to get new pictures taken. It's been a few years since we've had our portraits done. I'd like to do 3 sets, but not sure if the photographer would be patient enough for that. What I really want are: 1) professional shots - skirt or pant suits; 2) fun shots - doing whatever comes naturally ; and 3) flirty shots. I think that covers my full range of attitudes and personality.

...and while she was out enjoying Charles McVey this weekend she was obviously not writing her mystery novel. I haven't seen anything from her in the past few weeks to edit. So those of you who claim to be her friends, lock her up in her house and don't let her out until you see the fruits of her writings. Thank You! Michael
