I just got done watching "Butterfly Effect" and it was kinda creepy. It made me think about the movie "Sevens" and "The Cell" and the other movies out there that we've seen about how the mind creates and animates. In movies, the mind is portrayed as this "thing" that is bigger than the host that carries it. It is shown as having more purpose, more use, and more power than we choose to believe it to.
A friend asked if I believe in telekinesis, and I don't. I don't believe in magic or voodoo or the power to move from here to there without making a physical effort. And because I don't believe it, it makes me wonder.......
.... If EVERYONE believed in something, doesn't that make that "something" true? But then again, if all your friends jumped off a bridge, would you?
Just something to think about.
