Today was busy. Alex and I did a ton of stuff around the house, including rearranging. Plus, I baked some cone-cakes (that's cupcakes in ice cream cones) topped with whipped frosting and a cherry. They really look like ice cream cones, but they don't melt! :)
Mac came by with the weedwhacker and took care of some problem areas in my lawn. Of course, I didn't mow today even though I did plan on it. It was sooooo muggy out today! I planned to mow tomorrow, but I think I may have to cancel that plan if the storms keep up. But, I definitely plan to clean up the garage tomorrow no matter what.
Tonight, Alex and I sat outside and had a drink. It's not something we do on a regular basis, but we wanted to after our hard day of work. We didn't stay out long though. Just long enough to share a few laughs and let Sarah get a few mouthfuls of grass. LOL.
We also watched "Tin Man". Good flick. If you haven't seen it, but you love Wizard of Oz, then you should definitely watch it. It's the story of what happened many many years after Dorothy discovered Oz.
Overall, we had a very good day. I'm happy.
Tomorrow, the bathroom gets deep cleaning! UGH! And maybe the bedroom will get rearranged. :) We'll see ....
