Today, I am sick. First my daughter and mother were sick, then Justin got sick, and now I am sick. It's taking a lot of my energy away. I worked for quite a while on housework today, but that really wore me out. So, I took a nap and I had a really weird dream.
Alex and I were at World's of Fun (an amusement park in Kansas City). But, it wasn't the normal World's of Fun. It was different in a lot of ways, but my subconscious self had been to this dreamland place before.
We decided that we would go home and change, and then head home. But, the car we were driving was actually a bus, much like a school bus. And as I was trying to get out of the park, I took a wrong turn on the freeway and ended up on one of the park's rollercoaster railways. It curved very tightly in a zigzag manner. I was fine until I came to a portion of the railway that had no sidewalls. At that point, I stopped the bus. I told Alex that we could just get our stuff and head to a movie. I remember telling her "we can still have a fun time."
The hotel wasn't far away. We walked over and we were going to change before going out. There was one outfit that I felt compelled to wear. It was an "autumn" outfit, full of natural browns, shiny material, and leaf patterns. It was gorgeous. Unfortunately, I could not find the entire outfit. I kept searching and searching. All of the rest of the clothes we had were soaking wet. There was no explanation for that part of the dream though.
Weird!
