Van Problems Continued & Clothes Shopping!

So, I took the van back into the shop today. Just from my house to 21st & Fairlawn, it overheated again. They thought it would be a quick fix..... (just what I thought) to replace the thermostat. Yeah, I know a thing or two.

 

Well, not only was the thermostat that they had put in a BAD PART, but also the part that the water pump hooks onto had broken off!!! What the fuck??? Don't these guys know what the hell they're doing??? Alex and I sat there from noon til 3p, for nearly three hours, waiting for them to fix it. UGH!!! By the time they figured out that a piece had broken off, we were starving and thirsty. Neither of us had eaten all day!

 

Finally, the manager comes out and says that they are just going to pay for a rental car for us since it was going to be a while for the van to be fixed AT NO CHARGE!!! But, when he called Enterprise, they were closed for the day already. I told him that I had another car close by, but would need a ride. So, one of the guys took us to the Jeep.

 

What a day! THEN, we got a check from KPC (Kansas Payment Center for child support) for close to $450. That was a good thing. Alex and I set out to buy a few new clothing items since we hardly ever get to do that anymore. Unfortunately, we are cheap and will not spend $15 for a shirt or $35 for a dress made from t-shirt material! UGH!! I bought one shirt and a pair of sunglasses. Then we came home.

 

I want new clothes!!!
