Night Out

What a bomb! Last night I was supposed to go out with my friends Angela and Jodi. Neither showed. Jodi decided to stay at her parents house when she got in town because she's been upset lately, and had changed her mind at the last minute. I totally understand that.

I STILL have not heard from Angela who was going to come over right after work. I called her house, but got the machine. I don't know what's going on with her.

At 9p(!!!) I gave up on waiting for her and went out on my own! I went and grabbed coffee (of course) and hung out for a bit. Then, I went to the Breakroom, at 911 Kansas, to watch Alex and her friends sing karaoke. The last time I went, there were only about 10 people there. But, last night, the place was wall to wall people.

One of Alex's friends' parents owns the Breakroom and the parent's brother is a ..... well, I'm not sure how to put it. The "brother" is a cross-dressing performer that goes by "Diva". She was a wonderful singer and was constantly in the back room changing outfits between songs. It was a good show.

So, my night out with the girls didn't turn to be spent with the girls I thought I would be with. Regardless, I still got out in the crowd with people I like hanging out with. LOL.
