Freedom Writers Diary

If you haven't seen "Freedom Writers Diary", you should.

Everyone has a story to tell, but sometimes we feel like no one wants to hear it or we're ashamed, scared, or even embarrassed to put our life experiences into spoken words for everyone to hear. We all have parts of our lives that are like that.

On top of that, we've all known struggle, either due to an external presence or an internal one. We've struggled to be better, smarter, stronger; in essence, just to be more than what we are. We've all been there before.

This movie takes you to the extreme of these circumstances, of being at the bottom of the totem pole of society of high school, of being "nobody". It builds up the characters to show that there is always a story to be told, and gives them a place to tell it, to be heard. It made me want to pick up a pen and write something. Anything.

Freedom Writers Diary, I must admit, even made ME a little teary-eyed. That's hard to do. I have to suggest this movie to you. It's one worth watching mre than a few times. LOL.
