Baby's Getting Girly!

Alex told me tonight, "aren't you glad I'm a girl again?" LOL. I asked what she meant by that. She said "well, I used to be such a tomboy."

Tonight, we got faux lashes, new clothes, teeth whiteners, and she got her hair cut (bangs). My little girl is becoming a young woman who is discovering what a beauty she really is. Next week, she wants to go back to her natural blonde haircolor. (Right now she has deep dark red hair.) Plus, she's asked to get contacts so she doesn't have to wear her glasses all the time.

Alex is going to be 17 pretty soon. She's applied for a few summer jobs. She's coming into her adulthood with flying colors.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that she has been recommended for nomination for the Youth Artist of the Year Award for her writing!! Yeah! She's freakin awesome! And you know what, that, in turn, makes ME awesome! Let's face it people, we are just a couple of good looking, awesomely wonderul ladies.
