Nuthin'

I wish there was something interesting that I could write here. Not much going on that I want to share though. Oh, I know, you're saying "there's always something to share." Hmmm....

My dad took Alex driving last night for a while. She came home and told me how Grandpa "tricked" her into driving on the interstate. LOL. That's my ol' dad, the trickster. He's a funny guy really. One night, he just came by. Not really for any reason. I think he just wanted to get out of the house. He's never really been a homebody, and after he was forced into retirement by a stroke in early 2005 (I think), he's been homebound a lot. But, through rehabilitation, he has managed to get back up and nearly to his old self again. That crazy man talked the DMV into renewing his motorcycle license!! Now, of course he can't actually ride his motorcycle, but he is licensed to. LOL.

I've started writing again, for those who haven't noticed. I took a very long break from it, but I feel it's time to get back into the swing of things. I've considered a "creative writing" class at WU, but I'm not sure if I want my work to be "compromised" by the Rules of Writing. I believe that there's a difference between proper writing, and creative writing. It's a readability factor. You can write with perfect form and bore the shit out of your readers. I want to be the writer of that book you just can't put down. I'll get there. I know I can, but I just have to DO it!
