Enrollment

Today was enrollment for Alex. Yeah!! She IS a junior this year!! That's awesome!! Sure, she will still have to take some extra classes over the next year or two, but SHE'S A JUNIOR!!!

I don't know if I've written this lately, but I LOVE my baby girl!!

Since I was able to get deferred payments on her school charges, we went to brunch together. (The host thought we were sisters. LOL!) We picked up her yearbook for last year while we were at the school, and looked through it while we ate (careful not to get goobers on the pages!!). We laughed at some, were saddened by some who had graduated last year, and talked about the year to come.

A little bit ago, my baby girl came up and hugged me. She said she loved me. This is not something that happens all the time in our home. Not that we don't love each other, but we just aren't a "physical, huggy, lovey" kind of family. So, I'm just enjoying the moment.
